Nexcess™ was founded in October, 2000 as the proverbial “two guys in a garage”. [Nexcess] had aspirations of providing good, quality hosting services at reasonable prices. In the beginning, [Nexcess] simply hosted friends, family and any other folks [they] could convince into using our fledgling service. It was very slow going in the beginning which gave [them] time to think about automating our operations for the future clients [they] hoped to have. Also during this time, the InterWorx™ Control Panel and NOCWorx™ data center Management System was actually born, in part, out of their early days of tinkering.
