Magento 2 Technical Architect – LATAM

The Role:

The Technical Architect is responsible for architecting client solutions with the Magento 2 platform and ensuring successful solution deployments. This is a customer-facing position where you will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to transform customer business goals into successful technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discovery activities with customers and stakeholders communicating status, updates and architectural decisions.
• Architect technical solution of Magento deployment, including integrations, environment, data migration, configuration change management, scalability, security, and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers through a project lifecycle.
• Create technical solution documentation for all stakeholders (customers, developers, project managers, and support teams).
• When needed, jump into the code to get sprints and projects completed on time.
• Participate in pre-sales and pre-project activities, including high-level estimation, speculative solution definition, and authoring technical and solution aspects of project charters or SOW’s.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience with web development projects, working in a client services environment, and building sites from start to finish.
• Experience developing ecommerce client sites with approximately 10,000 SKUs with ERP, PIM, and Order Management System integrations and 100 conversions per second.
• Over 3 years’ experience developing client solutions on Magento (3+ years with Magento 2, prior experience with Magento 1).
• Provable experience with Magento Cloud.
• A solid understanding of complex, high-performance, and robust Magento environments, caching, and page performance.
• 3-4 successful projects operating in an Agile/Scrum environment including breaking down User Stories into technical tasks with estimates and success criteria.
• Multiple Magento certifications is a big plus!
